Ennichisai tahun ini, gue pergi sama temen kuliah,
yang ternyata baru pertama kali datang ke ennichisai, atau biasa juga disebut
Little Tokyo Festival. Kita datang di hari terakhir Ennichisai 2016, tapi siang
hari, meskipun konon pada malam penutupan acara jauh lebih meriah. Dari pertama
kali sampai di lokasi, she was amazed by weird-but cute-but weird-but
ridiculously attractive cosplayers.
Kalau yang belum biasa, mungkin memang bakal kaget dengan bentuk bentuk
cosplayer super aneh apalagi dengan bahan bahan cosplay yang kurang lazim untuk
dipakai sebagai pakaian. But being in this kind of crowd, have it's own kind of
fun. XD
Iced green tea latte. I wish this was available in our canteen T.T
Ringo ame instead of flowers, please! Haha. A candied apple, that looks like an apple shaped glass. Undoubtedly a pretty snack, but not quite sure with the taste. Not bought it tho', way too pricey. XD
Taiyaki-kun! A very popular fish-shaped traditional Japanese snack. Originally it's filled with sweet bean paste from the body to it's tail, but modern taiyaki is filled with various kind of paste. I can't recall what kind of paste this one was filled with.
Takoyaki (upper), a ball shaped pancake filled with octopus and garnished with mayonnaise, ginger pickles and fermented fish flakes. The lower one is... sweet Japanese pancake? I forget the name, but it looks like smaller version of Dorayaki, but without fills, and sweet syrup (?) above instead.
Ikayaki, a squid pierced through the length of it's body with a wooden stick, grilled, choped, and then topped with soy sauce and chili powder. This one was grilled, but still really soft and juicy. And not to mention the freshness of it.
I have no idea who are they playing as. It could be some characters from games, or maybe i haven't read manga for too long.
Mikoshi, god's vehicle in Shinto belief, used to move from one temple to another. In this event, Mikoshi was paraded around Blok M Square and Mentawai.
